The department contains articles whose topics are related to:

1) the interpretation of journalism and the determination of its essential properties in the context of the modern Russian media system, as well as other national media systems;

2) new concepts of journalism, borrowed, including from related humanitarian fields;

3) the development of its conceptual apparatus;

4) a description of the structural, functional, typological aspects of journalism;

5) the presentation of various methodological approaches, including interdisciplinary ones, which allow for media research.

Modern Literature, Criticism, Journalism in the Structure of Mass Communication Fedorov Vasily Viktorovich

The department hosts articles whose subjects are related to studies of modern literature, criticism and journalism as forms of mass communication, their publicity and media. The following areas are expected:

1) modern literary and journalistic process;

2) discourse of criticism of various formats (traditional journal criticism, network and online criticism, etc.);

3) non-fiction literature;

4) artistic and journalistic journalism;

5) the intermediaism of literary and critical discourse (media art, video poetry and video art, performativity, social and artistic activism, design).

The department accepts articles whose topics are related to the study of the game as a form of communication, namely:

1) the gamification of the communicative process,

The section is intended to summarize the experience of the study of linguistics, journalism and media communications in the field of the game potential of words, language, speech, discourse, communication (mass and media).
