The article examines the level of popularity of Turkish television series that are broadcast both on Russian television and in online cinemas. For decades, Turkish TV series have been in demand among Russian audiences. In this regard, it seems necessary to analyze their success, taking into account the various features of the television series themselves and the trends in the development of this media content. The paper examined the cliches, artistic features, and control specifics that make Turkish television series different from Russian or American projects. The author described Russian TV channels and digital resources broadcasting Turkish series, and identified the most popular Turkish projects among the Russian audience. The analysis of the interest of the Russian audience in Turkish projects by region was also presented. The author concludes that Russian viewers do not neglect the Turkish TV series on various platforms, but the recorded interest is not characterized by a massive scale, despite the extensive representation of Turkish TV series in online cinemas and on television. The work uses a combination of different research methods: comparative and typological analysis, the method of conceptual analysis, data analysis and ratings of Turkish television series on Russian TV channels and in online cinemas. The purpose of the work is to consider the representation and popularity of Turkish television series on Russian television and digital resources. Based on the data obtained, the following conclusions can be drawn: over the past ten years, a large number of Turkish television series have appeared on Russian TV channels, but not all of them can boast of high ratings or popularity with the audience; cultural specifics of Turkish content do not repel the Russian viewer, but, on the contrary, arouse his interest, differences between the TV screening of Turkish series are recorded and by showing them in online cinemas.References
