Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the functioning of the discursive practice of podcasting. The purpose of the article is to study and generalize the experience of communicative strategies of Russian podcasting broadcasting. The object of the study is the Russian podcast market, which has been actively developing in recent years. The authors propose a definition of the podcast's communicative strategy and identify its main genre-forming features. The subject of the analysis is both the ways of organizing the material (format, structure) in podcasts, and the specifics of its presentation – the speech style of the presenter, the features of interaction with the audience, a set of expressive means. There are varieties of podcasts according to the type of the leading communicative strategy: conversational (interview, conversation, etc.), narrative (solo podcast, lecture, audio diary) and artistic (audio performance, audio series, documentary drama). The main techniques of creating podcasts are analyzed, such as storytelling, personification, fundamentally set dialogicity, etc. The article considers the linguistic and stylistic features of this discursive practice – simplification, the effect of audience presence, the free style of confidential conversation, the appeal of monological replicas to the listener, profanity, emancipation of the presenter, etc. Special attention is paid to the specifics of podcast editing, their micro-etiquette, as well as the ability to accumulate an audience and form a community.
