Abstract

From a linguistic point of view, the issues of globalization are poorly studied. Basically, studies are conducted on the ecology of the language and the excessive use of Anglicisms in the language, the formation of the world language. There is no studies on the mechanisms of the globalization’s impact on linguistic consciousness, and therefore this area is considered as promising for complex linguistic research.

The article examines the mechanisms of the influence of globalization on the linguistic consciousness of young people. According to semiotic-synergetic and cognitive analysis, the key attractors in media publications about youth were identified as : social networks, projects, infrastructure, values. Social networks are considered by the author as one of the main channels of communication today, which allows more people to be involved in the information war. The presence of a large audience of media readers increases the efficiency of manipulating the linguistic consciousness of the masses and allows them to achieve the necessary behavior from the target audience. For the implementation of activities, such a form as projects is increasingly used, for which performers and project participants are selected. The author also highlights such an attractor as infrastructure. Conforming to a standard infrastructure is a point of attraction for young people, as evidenced by numerous publications and heated disputes in the media. Young people, being the most mobile stratum of society, are drawn to places where the infrastructure is well-developed, which improves the quality of life in general and in particular. Through these structures, the processes of destruction and dissipation of traditional semantic structures and the formation of new value orientations are realized.
