Abstract

At the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries, media projects that popularize the values of family and parenting were created by professional journalists or specialized social organizations. But today, in the context of digitalization, these questions and topics are increasingly being raised by the non-professional blogging community and replicated on various Internet sites. An important research task is identifying the functional orientation of pro-family blogs, typologizing user resources on the topic of family and parenting, and defining their content strategies. The parameters for dividing blogs can be the type of family that is represented in them (complete / incomplete family, one-child / large family, nuclear / extended); specialization of the blog on a particular topic or problem (foster parenting, children with special needs, etc.); strategy of marriage and family relations (patriarchal family / partner family). Functional focus of pro-family blogs: information, emotional support, inclusion in society (for women during maternity leave), business promotion or earnings, communication according to interests. The blogosphere is associated with such a phenomenon as ‘sharenting’ (formed from the words ‘to share’ and ‘parenting’): users actively post information about everyday life and the life of their family with children, that is, they use blogs to convey a large amount of detailed information about their parenting practices. ‘Sharenting’ promotes the popularization of the values of family and parenting in the modern communicative space.
