Reasons for the popularity of short news videos in social media (on the example of the "al-jazeera" channel)

Using the example of short videos from the Al-Jazeera channel, the article examines the changes in the principles of content distribution in connection with the emergence of new platforms, the definition of which means of promoting content on social networks Al-Jazeera uses, and the judgment about the nature and form of the content published by Al-Jazeera. In the article will be establish the main features of a short video intended for distribution in new media. The research results showed that the platform (АЈ) has become very popular on social networks. Most of the videos that Al Jazeera produced were video reports or short documentaries. Thus, we saw that a number of videos distributed by the channel on the platforms were made in accordance with the developed regulations. We found that (AЈ) focused on Facebook more than other social networks due to its popularity in the Arab world, especially among young people
