Abstract

This article discusses the philosophical prerequisites for applying the interface concept to a communicative act. Through the analysis of the approaches of A. Galloway and L. Manovich to the interface, its universality, “exposing” the structure of the process, is substantiated. Interface affordances are considered as triggers that are significant for the reconfiguration of the system at the virtual and actual levels. Such an understanding of affordances is possible with the application of schizoanalytic metamodeling to the communicative act.
