Abstract

Modern information space is characterized by the dynamic integration of traditional media and innovative technologies. The processes taking place contribute to the formation of the culture of modern information society, which is already becoming an element of the general culture of humanity. Understanding the modern culture of information society in the narrow sense implies a set of optimal and real mechanisms and ways of circulation and use of media information with its subsequent presentation to the interested consumer. It is targeting a specific consumer that stimulates the media to search for effective and promising ways and formats of presenting media content.

As a result of the integration of traditional media and innovative technologies, new content delivery formats are emerging to attract users. The article examines the modern form of presenting the protagonist on television - a profile as a modern format of television content that contributes to the establishment of effective communication. For a detailed understanding of the interpretation of the meaning of this concept, the etymology of the word profile is considered. The features of creating a program and non-program profile are formulated, influencing the establishment of effective communication between television and the audience.
