Transformational processes in modern Russian society aim to create a full–fledged digital environment in the country that ensures simplicity, clarity and openness of interaction between government authorities, the population and business. New digital technologies very clearly demonstrate the understanding that the process of information interaction is two–way and requires the readiness of both parties involved in such communications. The purpose of the study is to identify elements of media communication technologies that could be more effectively used by government authorities in the implementation of key national projects in the Russian Federation, to determine the features of information support for the implementation of national projects, to identify problems and future prospects for the use of media communications. As a result of the analysis, it is possible to determine the most effective media communication technologies for government agencies, and develop specific practical recommendations for improving the effectiveness of the processes of building media interaction between key participants in the implementation of national projects in Russia.
