To keep the print media alive, editorial offices need professional staff. Future journalists are required not only to write competently, but also to have flexible skills that allow them to integrate into “adult” journalism. The article discusses the possibility of introducing internal regulations in the educational media - editorial policy, and how this fact can be reflected in the professional activities of graduates of the Faculty of Journalism. As a result of the analysis of scientific publications and the undertaken empirical research, the definition of "editorial policy of educational media" is specified.
