Regional journalism in reflection of professional awards (based on materials from the Siberian federal district)

The article analyzes the results of key political contests: «10 best newspapers in Russia» and «Golden Press Fund» (for periodicals), «TEFI Region» (competition for TV channels), «Together Media. Radio» and «Together media. Online». Thus, the contests that have become the material for the research presented in the article make it possible to capture all types of media: periodicals, television, radio and online media. The results of the analysis showed that a total of 25 Siberian newspapers were noted among the periodicals, 13 of which represent the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The editorial staff of the Siberian Federal District did not win the television competition often, in recent years only 7 TV channels have been awarded. The winners of «TEFI Region» are most often projects of local branches of VGTRK. GRTC Gorny Altai and Omsk Channel 12 were awarded for feature films. In 2021, the Novosibirsk OTC received the TEFI for the design of the studio. 4 Siberian teams proved themselves in the competition of radio stations at the All–Russian level, 15 at the interregional level. The interregional Radio Siberia stands out among the radio stations. Among online media, 6 Siberian editorial offices won at the All-Russian level, 24 were noted among representatives of the federal district. The winners were most often the NGS (Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Kemerovo editions). Although there are several local media outlets in Tomsk and the Altai Territory among the winners. For all the analyzed contests, the basis for the formation of nominations becomes a functional-activity, rather than a thematic criterion. Based on the results of the analysis of the results of the competitions, the article is compiled into tables and thus succinctly, but fully, the Siberian media that won the interregional competitions are presented. The results of the conducted research are also of practical importance for analyzing examples of high-quality regional journalism with students.References
