Abstract

The article explores the role of the literary vlog «Armen and Fyodor», focusing on its original approaches to discussing books, analyzing their content and form, as well as the broad philosophical, cultural, and historical contexts. The thematic direction of the channel, the author’s original methods for discussing books, and their interaction with the audience are analyzed. The influence of the video format on the formation of reading preferences is also considered. Within the framework of the study, several key issues are identified: 1) the impact of the video format on deepening interest in literary texts; 2) the management of reading preferences through the blogger’s recommendations, the role of the blogger as an intermediary between «high» literature and the mass audience, and their ability to shape literary tastes; 3) the ways in which the channel’s author interacts with the audience, including methods of communication with subscribers, comments, discussions, interviews, and active involvement in book discussions. The author concludes that the «Armen and Fyodor» vlog successfully contributes to increasing interest in reading. The author of the article analyzes how the «Armen and Fyodor» channel broadens the audience for classical and contemporary literature, shaping a new culture of perceiving «high» literature through an accessible and modern format.
