The article examines the experience of media centers in different countries. Relevance. In modern society, it is impossible to imagine everyday life without the use of mass media, including such forms as the Internet, television, radio, press, cinema, and sound recordings. These media platforms have become extremely important to humanity over the past few decades, occupying a key place in culture and communications at the global level. The media space goes beyond a simple tool of information exchange, transforming into a vast arena where cultural norms are not only created and become attractive, but also spread. A media organization that enjoys public recognition and trust often acts as a link between the sender and recipient of a message. Technological processes are a key factor here, implying an established system of almost industrial content creation, which, in turn, affects the formation of the worldview and social foundations of the audience. The importance of this in the context of global changes and the impact on public consciousness cannot be overestimated. The purpose of the study. Analysis and assessment of the effectiveness of media systems and practices in the BRICS and CIS countries, with the aim of identifying key features of their functioning, impact on the media landscape and compliance with modern requirements and trends in the media industry. Materials and methods of research. Analysis of scientific and practical literature, generalization, synthesis of opinions, comparative analysis. The results of the study. A comparative assessment of the peculiarities of the formation of the media system in different countries of the world is made. The analysis of the media systems of the BRICS countries, taking into account their uniqueness, including the influence of geography, history, and even unique features of civilizations, together with the economy and socio-religious structure, becomes a fundamental process in understanding global changes. This became particularly relevant at the beginning of the 21st century, when experts began to focus on the importance of taking into account national characteristics in media analysis, thereby emphasizing new challenges to classical approaches to media communication. Today, this system requires a new look and understanding.References
