Abstract

The article discusses the main aspects of the actual state of the study of interdisciplinarity as a scientific phenomenon in relation to the practical tasks of organizing interdisciplinary teams. Analyzing the speeches of the participants of the round table “Perspective directions of interdisciplinary research with the humanities”, held in November 2022 as part of the Days of Science in the Chelyabinsk region, and also solving the problem of the effective research team-building for the project 23-18-20098 supported by Russian Science Foundation and Chelyabinsk region, the author identifies three main problem in the organization of interdisciplinary teams: 1) insufficient knowledge of the phenomenon of interdisciplinarity as a certain organization paradigm scientific research; 2) “rhetorization” of the concept of “interdisciplinarity” as a general figure of speech that does not have subject and does not have its own algorithms; 3) problems of organizing interdisciplinary teams as teams of specialists who are mutually interested in multidimensional results. Considering these blocks of problems, the author comes to the conclusion that it is necessary to develop an algorithm for building an interdisciplinary team of scientists aimed at obtaining breakthrough results.
