Aims and Scope

Znak: problemnoe pole mediaobrazovania («Sign: The Problematic Field of Media Education») is focused on research of communication and media. Its aim is to promote the innovations in this area through the publication of research and theoretical investigations covering topics such as the history of journalism, media and education, journalism theory and issues related to media research methods, contemporary literature, criticism, journalism within the structure of mass communication, playful forms of communication, speech models and strategies of media discourse, media cultural studies, economics, politics, law and media, the public sphere in the context of mass communication, the professional culture of journalists, communicative studies: advertising, PR, branding, media etc. The journal provides a platform for the exchange of ideas, research findings, and scholarly discussions among scholars, researchers, practitioners, and specialists in the field of media education.
